Notes for this activity:Does your dog already know the basic manners of sit, down, come, stay, leave it, drop it, loose
leash walking, and greeting people and dogs politely? Then the intermediate class is the place for
you and your dog to continue building your relationship using positive reinforcement. All you need
is a 4-6 foot leash, soft treats, a collar, and your dog’s shot records. You will reinforce the basic
manners your dog already knows by applying them to real world situations. You will learn
how to teach your dog how to manage distractions when you give a cue, to add distance and
duration to the command that you are giving your dog, to go to his/her bed, to wait at the door,
to heel when you are walking in a crowd or crossing the street, to go right, left, slow, and fast
while heeling, and a fun trick. Come and enjoy bonding with your dog.
